How do I find a fragrance similar to one I love?
Choose it in the finder, then select “Something familiar”. Shared notes help identify connections, but balance and composition can make two perfumes smell different. Read the explanation and compare samples.
What does “a gap in my wardrobe” mean?
It means a suggested fragrance has an occasion that is not yet represented among bottles you marked as owned. It is a suggestion based on recorded roles, not a reason you must buy another bottle.
What is the difference between saved, owned and wanted?
Saved bottles appear on your canvas. “I own it” allows a fragrance to appear in your daily choices. “Want to try” keeps it eligible for discovery. “I’ve tried it” records experience separately from owning it. Add a Like or Not for me to make that experience useful.
Can a note list tell me whether a perfume is safe for an allergy?
No. Perfume notes describe scent impressions, not a complete ingredient or allergen declaration. Use the manufacturer’s current label and seek qualified advice for an individual concern. The site cannot assess allergy safety.
Will the finder understand anything I type?
No. It recognises supported fragrance names and preferences such as occasions, warm or cool weather, less sweetness and notes to avoid. Check the “Using” summary. It does not apply price, performance or layering requests.
Are fragrance recommendations and league rankings the same?
No. Your profile suggests candidates for your taste. The league counts community votes. A popular fragrance may not be a good personal fit, and a new fragrance with no votes is not necessarily a poor one.
Are reviews verified purchases?
No. Members sign in to review, but ScentWardrobe does not sell perfume or verify purchases. Reviews must describe honest personal experience. Read our community guidelines.
Is ScentWardrobe free? Can I buy perfume here?
The current test is free. There is no checkout or paid subscription. Product pages can take you to the fragrance house; any purchase is with that separate seller under its own terms.
How do I recover or delete my account?
Use “Forgot your password?” with your username and the recovery code saved when you joined. There is no email password reset in this test. My account offers Download my data and Delete my account; deletion requires your password or recovery code.
If you lose both your password and recovery code, there is currently no self-service recovery route. Keep the recovery code private.
What happens to my account at the end of the test?
The current test database is scheduled to expire on 12 October 2026. Download your data beforehand. Do not rely on the test as the only copy of your collection or diary.
Can I share directly to Instagram?
You can create a Story image, download it and add it to Instagram. Where your device supports sharing files, its share sheet may offer Instagram. Availability depends on the device and installed apps; nothing is posted automatically.
Where should I report a problem?
For a customer review, use the Report review button on its product page. For a catalogue discrepancy, compare the official house link shown with that product. A general public support mailbox has not yet been established for this test.
